Remodeling Pictures vol. 2

This is the kitchen with the new wall framed, it was torn down and moved 2 feet further out to allow for more cabinetry and space in the kitchen. The new subfloor has been laid for the kitchen floor as well. In the background Jeremy is standing at the top of the open basement stairwell.

Basement stairwell....will be opened up a bit more with a railing all the way around it to make the finished basment feel more like a part of the house. Behind that wall is the entrance to the girls' bedrooms and to the right is the doorway to our room.

The new kitchen wall from the other angle...you can see how open the living/dining rooms and kitchen will be now. Lots of natural light...
