Gilliam Family Update - November 2006

The Gilliams are all doing great!

Jeremy is still very busy with work, but will begin the 3rd level of call in January which will mean lots more time at home and LOTS less time at the hospital. He has begun his job search, concentrating on the Lexington-Cincinnati-Indy-Louisville area. He will officially be done with residency in June 2008 but we hope to have a job lined up by spring 2007. So far the Cinci area looks to be the most promising, but we still have a few months. His favorite hobbies at present are his fish tank and collecting music. There is no telling how many thousands of songs he has!

Brook is busy in keeping up with everybody else in this family, as well as with the women's Bible study at church and volunteer work at Kaelyn's school. During the summer she worked hard in her flowerbeds and yard, but is glad to have a break until the spring.

Kaelyn is 7 and a 1st grader this year. She loves school and is doing great. She has a wonderful young teacher and a BEST friend named Emma. She is also taking some art classes this fall. She loves to draw, sing with her new karaoke machine, and read chapter books.

Bella attends Mom's Day Out twice a week, which we call her "school", and is a very busy 3 year old. Her favorite pasttime is lovin' on Coco (our cat), but she also loves to paint with watercolors, sing, and play with Kaelyn.

And a little Coco update: when we took Coco for "her" spay the vet discovered "she" was a "he"! So we ended up with a really sweet boy cat instead of a girl cat. We decided to still call him Coco though we've changed his middle name to "the Man" instead of "Chanel" :)
